The Treasurer is the official keeper of financial records
for the City of Palos Hills. As such, the Treasurer publishes
the Journal of Proceedings to reflect all legislative action.
The general duties of the Treasurer are stated by City Code
2.32.030 and State statute as follows:
Receive all money paid into the city, either directly from
the person paying it, or from the hands of such other officer
as may receive it.
Keep records showing all money received by him, the source
from which it was received, and the purpose for which it was
paid out.
Keep a seperate account of each fund or appropriation,
and debits and credits belonging thereto.
Pay out all money on vouchers or orders properly signed by
the city clerk and the mayor.
