Bar and Restaurant Closures

Dear Business Owner,

In an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, Governor Pritzker through a State Executive Order has mandated that all Bars and Restaurants be closed effective 9:00 pm. March 16, 2020 through Monday, March 30, 2020.

RESTAURANTS: will be allowed to have Carry-Outs, Pick-Ups or Delivery service ONLY!
REPEAT: You cannot have any in premise sit-down service.

Any restaurant with Video Games and/or Gaming machines will suspend those gaming operations effective 9:00 pm, March 16, 2020 through Monday, March 30, 2020.

The City of Palos Hills under State Executive Order will monitor all restaurants, bars and video gaming operations to insure these order are followed by you as the business owner.

I understand the incredible hardship this will place on you as a local business owner. As a small business owner myself, I to will be affected by the unprecedented changes that this pandemic has created across the country. We hope that with Federal and State Mandates affecting our livelihoods that there shall also be some type of financial relief to off- set the loss of business.

Please inform your customers by posting a notice on your front door as to the limitation of services you can provide. Thank you for your cooperation and we will update you to any further change from State or Federal government.
