City of Palos Hills residents who want a free COVID-19 test are invited to get one next Saturday at a community testing event on February 20th. This event has been moved back a week from its originally scheduled date of February 13th due to the extremely cold temperatures expected this weekend.
The City of Palos Hills Public Works Building located at 7860 108th St which can be accessed by heading east on 108th St off of Roberts Rd will be the site of the Roseland Community Hospital testing event from 9 a.m. til 12 p.m. on February 20th. Registration is not required for this event; it is a first come, first serve program.
All testing will be conducted on a drive through basis and is free to any resident; whether you have symptoms or not. You do not have to live in the City of Palos Hills to be tested.
The event is being provided through the New Roseland Community Hospital in a partnership with the City of Palos Hills.
The State Department of Health emphasized that COVID-19 testing is a one-time assessment that only reveals if a person is infected at the time of the test.
