Dear Residents,

Spring Spruce Up: With Spring approaching, please consider checking the exterior of your home for needed painting, fence repairs, front doors that might need varnishing, landscaping, etc. Please do not forget to check the condition of your mailbox and post.

Sprinkling Ordinance: Beginning May 15th and ending September 15th, you can water your lawn from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on odd days if your address is an odd number and even days if your address is an even number.

Park Watch: Some of our parks are surrounded by homes. If you see anything suspicious, please call 911.

Curfew: Curfew will be enforced for any teen less than 17 years of age:

  1. Between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 6:00 a.m. Saturday
  2. Between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Sunday
  3. Between 10:30 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, inclusive, and 600 a.m. the following day.

Tornadoes: Be aware of tornado watches and sirens and always take precautions.

Handicapped Parking: There is a $350 fine for illegally parking in a handicap space and also on the striped area.

Cell Phones: Holding, texting, or talking while driving is a violation of state law.

Elsie’s Pantry: If you might need a food pantry, Elsie’s is located in Savior Divine Church (708-598-4435) located at 10040 88th Ave. They are open Thursdays, 2 – 4 p.m. Please call for information.

Neighbors: Sometimes our neighbors are too proud to ask for any assistance. If the weather is extremely hot or cold, please check on them.

Chipper Schedule: A copy of the chipper schedule was mailed in the water bill. Please read for important information.

Water Bill: Please consider online payments. Contact water department for information.
