Dear Residents,

Addresses: Make sure your address is clearly visible from the street to aid emergency vehicles.

Right Turn on Red: Make sure you come to a complete stop before you make a right turn on red.

Sidewalks: It is against the law to block sidewalks with your vehicle. It is difficult for walkers who would have to go into the street because of blocked sidewalks.

911: The police department has said to call 911 after hours even if it is a non-emergency situation. Continue to call 911 in any emergency.

Waterways and Ditches: Keep waterways and ditches free of debris including grass clippings.

Spring Spruce Up: April is a good month to examine your property and plan any repairs and improvements.

Rain Barrels: Rain Barrels are available for a nominal charge from M.W.R.D. Information is available on their website.

Police Solicitation Calls: Our police department does not call asking for donations for any reason.

The Palos Township Office: The township offers many services. See them for help with health care, taxes, and financial emergencies.
