Biography

Peter Donahue was appointed Alderman of the Fourth Ward of Palos Hills in May 2022. He has been a resident of Palos Hills for over 20 years. He is a member of Sacred Heart Church. His four children all went to local schools and graduated from Stagg H.S and St. Laurence H.S. He has always been an active member of our community, coaching baseball and softball with Palos Hills Baseball Association (PHBA), The Hills Baseball & Softball Association (HBSA) and The Palos Stampede. He was on the board of both PHBA and HBSA for many years and was president of PHBA for 2 years. He has also coached basketball and football through Crestwood Park District, St. Patricia’s School and The Palos Lightning, as well as participating in local Indian Guides and Princesses.

Mr. Donahue is a partner at the law firm of Ripes, Nelson, Baggot, & Kalobratsos, in Itasca, Illinois. He has practiced as a litigator in Workers’ Compensation cases and Residential Real Estate for over 20 years. He graduated from Monmouth College with degrees in Economics and Spanish. And studied at the University of Granada, Spain and American University in Washington D. C.
