The Village of Oak Lawn will begin work at the intersection of 111th Street & Southwest Highway beginning on Tuesday, July 21 to continue with Transmission Main infrastructure improvements related to the Regional Water System. Due to the nature of the work, construction will occur on a 24 / 7 basis until work is completed, which is expected to take about eight (8) days.
The work will lead to congestion at and around the intersection. Drivers are asked to allow for additional travel time during construction.
