Biography

Jennifer has been residing in Palos Hills for over 30 years. She currently lives with her husband in the Third Ward.

Jennifer was raised by her parents to value community and integrity. Jennifer’s mother, Mary Ann Schultz, was a public service advocate who led by example. Mary Ann Schultz was a 5th Ward Alderman of the Palos Hills City Council for 16 years before her passing in 2018.

Jennifer was raised in Palos Hills for a majority of her upbringing and she is a graduate of Alonzo Stagg High School. Jennifer received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University; a Master’s/Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Eastern Illinois University; and a second Master’s from Lewis University in Educational Administration and is employed as an administrator – within a west suburban public school district – developing critical special education plans for students with special needs.

Jennifer also has volunteer experience in a wide range of activities such as being the President of the Illinois School Psychologist Association (ISPA) during the 2014-2015 school year along with several other volunteer positions within the ISPA board for over ten years.

Currently, Jennifer serves on the board of her Homeowners Association, The Hills of Palos. She is also an active member of the Palos Horseman’s Association.

Jennifer previously served on the City of Palos Hills Police Pension Board. Jennifer, along with her husband Tom, are active members and volunteers of Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills.

Jennifer will use her passion and commitment to public service to keep Palos Hills moving forward.
