During the COVID-19 pandemic, the real heroes wear scrubs.
Right now, across America, people are isolating themselves and practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The hardest thing that most of us must do during this pandemic is sit at home.
But not nurses. Nurses are on the front lines treating people who have this terrible virus, putting themselves and their families at risk of the virus. They do this every day, but usually most of us don’t notice.
Please join your fellow residents in showing that the City of Palos Hills truly appreciate the sacrifice our nurses are making for us.
