According to the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), unemployment systems across the country are seeing an increase in fraud of unemployment insurance programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. If anyone believes that unemployment fraud is being committed, please contact IDES at 1-800-814-0513 or 1-877-566-6230.
